About Us
The Parish Pastoral Council facilitates discussion of all issues related to our life as a community of Christ.  Its main purpose is to set a vision for the parish and act as an advisory body for the Pastor.  It strives to keep our focus on our parish mission statement.  The council exercises shared responsibility for the pastoral life of the parish under the authority and leadership of the pastor.  In this context, the purpose of the council is to prayerfully engage the people and the pastor in common reflection about the parish's mission and ministry.

Councilors are elected by parish-at-large for a term of three years.  Terms are staggered.  Any registered and confirmed parishioner may serve on this council.  Its existence is mandated by the Archdiocese. In order to maintain continuity, one-third of the Council will be open for election each year.  Every baptized and confirmed member of the Catholic faith, 16 years of age or older and currently registered in the parish.
