About Us
After its absence from the church's list of many activities for a number of years, St. Luke Church re-introduced a Senior Citizens Club for those members of our community that have provided so many wonderful years of volunteering, example, and faith.

The Senior Citizens Club was also identified as a needed development in the parish several years ago during a Parish Council strategic planning session.  After evaluating the parish's activities, it became clear that the older members of our parish needed more events geared toward them.

The club, a direct result from that, is meant to provide the senior citizens of our parish with at least one event a month at the church to gather with friends and have a good time.  There has been a strong desire for such a club for quite some time.  Their events are all socials that include a potluck of various types of foods, Bingo, and sometimes Mexican Train.  The Bingo Socials have been increasing in their attendance with the average up to 50 people!

The club helps fulfill the mission of the parish through evangelizing, living out the values of the church, and creating a community.

The club is a way to give back to those who have done so much for our church over the years.  Many parishioners who are now senior citizens, were the founders of our parish and helped instill the values that continue through such a ministry.

The club is geared toward people who are age 55 or older, but anyone is welcome.  You do not need to be Catholic or a parishioner of St. Luke.
