Liturgy Notes
The second reading today is Romans 12:1-2. Paul tells us to be living
sacrifices of praise to the Lord. What a grace and witness it is, if we can be transformed according to the will of the Lord.

 Reflection:
How hard it is on a daily basis, not to be influenced by the media
and pressures of others. Take a moment to reflect on how you have been transformed by the will of the Lord.

We endeavor to lead our students to an ever-eper perception of the precious gift of faith through active participation in the sacramental and spiritual life of the Church. We help students to recognize the many talents God has given them. We challenge students to a life of Christian service, as well as to an acceptance of their Christ-mandated role as justice-seekers and peacemakers in our multicultural society. Come by the Hospitality Corner and ask our St. Luke Catholic School parents how you can be a part of the learning experience in our St. Luke Catholic Community.

 Year in Faith

Today the first reading is from
Jeremiah 20:7-9. The prophet
Jeremiah confesses his discouragement from failing at his prophetic calling and speaks of the personal suffering he has endured. The image of the fire that burns in his heart is the strength of God’s Word at work in the prophet.

   Reflection:
We too are called by God.
It is not always an easy journey, but the rewards are many. What is your calling? How are you being rewarded for answering the call?
