Thursday, October 29, 2020 - St. Luke Catholic School is pleased to announce that its waiver to return to in-person instruction for Transitional Kindergarten through Second Grade has been approved by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. In-person instruction for those grade levels will resume on Monday, Nov. 2.
While, we have done a fabulous job with Distance Learning, nothing replaces the classroom setting for learning and growing. Thank you your continued prayers! We are St. Luke Catholic School!

Pastors to remind faithful to keep the Sabbath holy: read the Gospels, pray with your family at home, make a spiritual communion.
Eucharistic Ministers should not visit the sick.
Anointing of the Sick by a priest is only allowed in extreme emergency (not able to visit hospitals, convalescent homes, senior homes, etc.)
No Funerals, except for graveside services (no more than 10 people).
No Weddings or Baptisms at this time.
Dispensation from Sunday Obligation of Mass: Archbishop José H. Gomez dispenses all the Catholic faithful of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and all Catholics currently in the Archdiocese from the obligation of attending Sunday Mass until further notice. Furthermore, the public celebration of Mass continues to be suspended in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles until further notice. Read the liturgical guidelines.
In this time of need, Archbishop Jose H. Gomez of Los Angeles, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, invites all the faithful to seek together the maternal intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe with a prayer.
