Youth/Adult Confirmation
This program is for high school youth and adults who want to accept the commitment to be a practicing Catholic.
Become a Confirmation Catechist - The St. Luke Faith Formation Program is looking for parishioners who are enthusiastic about sharing the Good News in active and insightful ways to our youth. If you feel the calling to lead our Confirmation candidates through their sacramental journey, please contact Barbara Hansen, Director of Religious Education, at [email protected] for more information or to schedule a meeting.
RCIA/RCIA adapted for Children
This is a formation process by which adults and children are welcomed into the Catholic Faith community. It is also for adults who want to follow their Catholic faith and receive their sacraments.
Upcoming RCIA Classes - St. Luke Parish welcomes new members into the Catholic Church as well as those who need to complete their Initiation Sacraments. This is done through a process of education, faith sharing, and rituals known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
This process includes several Rites which take place within the context of the Mass. Gatherings are provided to encourage conversion and an awakening of faith as we study the Gospel in light of Catholic tradition and dogma.
The RCIA team will be holding an Information Evening on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 7:00 pm in the Parish Resource Center. Please join us if you or someone you know has considered being baptized or completing their sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation and is 16 years of age or older.
If this time is not convenient for you, please call the Pastoral Office at (626) 291-5900 and we will arrange to meet with you at a more convenient time.
We look forward to meeting with you and taking this faith walk together!
